Trainer Biography
Robert Quintana, MSW
Robert Quintana is a graduate of Hunter College School of Social Work, City University of New York.
During his career he has provided direct services to children in residential settings, assessed and evaluated developmentally delayed persons in state detention centers, and worked in medical settings providing care to burn patients and spinal cord injured patients. He provided services to children and families as an emergency response Social Services Practitioner for San Bernardino County and in recent years has been a Supervisor in foster care.
Robert has had an extensive history in providing in-service training to Public Health Nurses on the Effects of Alcoholism on the Children and Spouses of Alcoholics. He has also provided in-service training to social workers in foster care. Robert is a certified Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting trainer as well as a Positive Discipline trainer. He has extensively trained potential foster parents in obtaining their certification.
