Intended Audience: Lineworkers interested in learning techniques to predict/reduce the risk of dangerous behavior in the workplace

- Examine contemporary research and field tested professional practices for reducing violent behavior

- Risk assessment – techniques for early detection of violence
- How to avoid exacerbating an emotionally charged interactions
- How to channel or defuse hostile behaviors
- Dealing with Mentally ill or substance abusing clients
- The aftermath of trauma – stages of recovery
