The National Adult Protective Services Association held it’s annual conference: Bridges to Justice, Nov 16th-Nov 19th 2020. This was the first year the conference was virtual and over 450 Adult Protective Services professionals and allied partners attended.
The Adult Protective Services Workforce Innovations (APSWI) team presented two workshops that were well attended and provided opportunities for networking, collaboration, and growth within APS programs across the nation. On the first day of the conference, APSWI kicked off the start of interactive breakout sessions, with their California APS Leaders Institute: Building Capacity for the Present and Future workshop. To learn more about the information presented in the workshop, visit the APS Leaders Institute tab on APSWI’s homepage.
APSWI rounded out Monday’s conference agenda with their workshop: Enrich Your Supervision: Using Transfer of Learning Tools to Coach Your Staff. You can download the virtual curriculum complete with a Trainer Manual and PowerPoint to use in your APS program by visiting the Supervising Training tab also on APSWI’s homepage.
