Intended Audience: Child Welfare supervisors and managers
Description of Course: This course will give child welfare supervisors and managers the tools to enhance their skills as supervisors related to SOP. By strengthening leaderships understanding of SOP and how to apply it the implementation of SOP in your county will be deepened.
Intended Objectives:
- Understand the critical elements of Safety-Organized Practice.
- Apply the values, principles, and tools of SOP to daily practice.
- Deepen facilitative supervision skills.
- Recognize and gain skills in utilizing the supervisor as coach role.
- Practice using coaching skills and elements of Safety-Organized Practice to enhance supervision of staff.
