Description of Course: This module will provide a review and introduction to Safety Organized Practice (SOP), review the value of and strategies for how to conduct a balanced and rigorous assessment and review how to use the Three Questions to shape your conversations with families.
Intended Objectives:
- Understand the foundational theories and tools on which SOP is based
- Develop a shared language for child welfare concepts
- Receive an overview of the SOP series
- Review and be able to describe the importance of conducting a balanced, rigorous assessment that looks at both safety and danger
- Review the use of the Three Questions to shape your conversations with families
