Amanda Wyatt, MC Clinical Psychology

Amanda Wyatt graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1995 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and in 1997 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.  In 1998, she joined the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency, Department of Child Welfare Services and has spent the last 18 years supervising Family Reunification and Family Maintenance Court cases.  She is currently a Protective Services Supervisor within Child Welfare Services and oversees social workers who work with families to alleviate the protective issues that have involved them with the juvenile courts to ensure safety, permanency, and well-being for children.

In 2011, she was selected to be an “early adopter” within the County of San Diego for the implementation of Safety-Organized Practice and facilitated the trainings of this practice throughout the North Inland Region. In addition to maintaining her role as a Protective Services Supervisor, in 2012 she joined the Central California Training Academy and was responsible for training and coaching line staff and management on the implementation of Safety Organized Practice in San Luis Obispo County.
