Trainer Biography
Shannon Jackson, LPCC
Shannon Jackson received her BA in Psychology, with a minor in Women’s Studies, from San Diego State University in 2000. She went on to receive her MA in Counseling from the University of San Diego in 2002. Ms. Jackson became a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in 2013.She has worked for several agencies that specialize in assisting youth and families that are struggling with issues such as substance use, trauma, mental health concerns, behavioral issues, and crisis situations. Ms. Jackson has been actively involved with the San Diego CADRE since 2009, working to help break down the barriers for clients seeking both mental health and substance abuse services. She is currently the Behavioral Health Program Coordinator, Behavioral Health Services Children, Youth, and Families for the County of San Diego Health & Human Service Agency.
