Charlie Rodnuson, M.A.
CWDS Practice Coach - Riverside/Imperial

Charlie Rodnuson is a CWDS Practice Coach at the Academy for Professional Excellence, where he works independently, and in partnership with Riverside and Imperial Counties, in coaching and workforce development services to public child welfare staff. Charlie joined the Academy transitioning from a Career Specialist role serving for four years at UC Riverside. Charlie’s background is in Higher Education as well as Mental Health, where he has worked in career advising, mental health therapy, and worked on a variety of specialized projects working with First Generation College students and Foster Youth. He obtained a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior from University of California, Irvine and a MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Orange. Outside of his role at the Academy, Charlie works as a Marriage and Family Therapist associate where he is accumulating his licensure hours to become licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
In his spare time, Charlie likes to play board games, Dungeons and Dragons Role Playing with friends, and taking drives to picturesque nature locations while listening to music.
