Laurel Rohlf
User Experience (UX) Designer

Laurel Rohlf joined the Academy in 2016 as a User Experience Designer. She has 15 years professional experience in illustration, animation and design with a focus on educational technology. Laurel has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from University of California at Santa Cruz, and continuing education completed coursework in User Experience design. When not designing she likes getting outdoors, outrigger paddling, and spending time with family and friends.

When did you join the Academy, and what was your position when you first joined?
I joined the Academy in March 2016 as the User Experience (UX) Designer to help communicate the Academy’s story through visual design, animation, and eLearning development.
How has working at the Academy revolutionized your career and/or your life?
The Academy provides me the space to excel, grow, and learn through my work. The Academy’s emphasis on well-being makes it a wonderful organization to be a part of.
What do you enjoy the most about working at the Academy?
The Academy provides me with a nurturing and supportive environment in which to practice my passion of creating impactful designs and user experiences that help make the world a healthier place.
What is a fun fact we should know about you?
When not designing, I like getting outdoors, outrigger paddling, and spending time with my family and friends.
