Nicole Heesen

Nicole began with the Academy in 2016 and came with over 10 years of experience in working with families and children, non-profit management, and facilitating trainings. She has managed programs that served children and families as well as worked closely with the Child Welfare system. Nicole also has a long history of facilitating trainings and developing curricula for case managers. Additionally, she has a vast amount of experience managing staff, working with diverse populations, developing administrative systems, managing databases, and leading a strategic vision. She sits on the Statewide Safety Organized Practice Backbone committee as well as takes a lead role at the Academy with Safety Organized Practice Implementation in the Southern Region.
