About RIHS
Our Vision: Create and inspire whole-person, inclusive, innovative workforce development solutions, by prioritizing the integration of peers, and community collaboration
Responsive Integrated Health Solutions (RIHS) is part of a network of services made available to the County of San Diego and contracted behavioral health service providers.
RIHS provides workforce development and peer education direct service. This includes staffing needs assessment, career paths analysis, and workforce development. RIHS workforce development includes classes, conferences, curriculum development, trainer development, eLearning, training coordination, as well as consultation in each of these areas. These services are provided to all staff within the behavioral health field including Peer Support Specialists and paraprofessionals.
RIHS provides peer education through Roadmap to Recovery (R2R). R2R is an educational and empowering peer-to-peer set of structured classes provided throughout the County of San Diego.
RIHS is a County of San Diego Behavioral Health Services contracted program of the Academy for Professional Excellence, a project of the SDSU School of Social Work.
RIHS Continuing Education Certification
RIHS provides Continuing Education for many County of San Diego Behavioral Health Professionals. Continuing education is available for most trainings. Fill out form for more info.

Eligibility for RIHS Training
RIHS trainings are designed for and offered to staff of San Diego Behavioral Health Services (BHS), contractors and BHS partners. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please see the RIHS FAQ page for more information.
