James (Diego) Rogers, PsyD
James (Diego) Rogers is the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services for Community Research Foundation, a San Diego based non-profit behavioral health agency with 25 programs throughout San Diego, CA funded primarily by the San Diego County Department of Behavioral Health Services. Dr. Rogers helps create, develop, and implement community-based specialty mental health programs that utilize Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery philosophies, are culturally competent, and welcoming of individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Diego was trained by Drs. Kenneth Minkoff and Christie Cline co-creators of the Comprehensive Continuous Integrated System of Care model for co-occurring disorders, as well as by Drs. William Miller and Theresa Moyers as a Motivational Interviewing Network Trainer. Diego is also a part-time lecturer at San Diego State University in the Marriage and Family Therapy program and a curriculum consultant for the Masters in Psychiatric Rehabilitation program since 2005. He also teaches in the Counseling and Social Change undergraduate minor.
