Trainer Biography
Leah Porter, MS, MA, LMFT
Leah Porter first joined the mental health field a little less than a decade ago, working primarily with children and families with severe trauma and behavioral disorders. She has run a variety of behavioral health programs within the County, including running multiple Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) & Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs for the past several years. Leah has a specific expertise and career focus on severely mentally ill (SMI), co-occurring, justice-involved patients. She currently works as the Behavioral Health Program Manager for San Diego Probation Department, overseeing the department treatment unit for adults and juvenile probationers with a variety of mental health, recovery, and criminogenic needs.
