Shawn McCurdy, MSW

Mr. McCurdy presently is employed as a Trainer/Consultant with the Los Angeles DCFS University/Cal State Long Beach. Mr. McCurdy has been with the consortium since 1998. He is a graduate of Howard University where he obtained both his BSW and MSW. Mr. McCurdy began his career in Social work as a medical social worker in Washington, D.C., before moving to the field of public child welfare in 1994. Mr. McCurdy has also worked in the non-profit field specializing in adoption home studies and family and child matching. Mr. McCurdy hobbies include travel, reading and spending time with his family.
