Brian Day
Before moving to San Diego County in 1999 to become a Probation Officer, Brian Day was a peace officer for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, working in corrections and several field assignments. His law enforcement career includes jobs at the Brea Police Department, the City of Anaheim and the UC Irvine Police Department. A graduate of Cal State University – Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, he has served the County of San Diego for 22 years in juvenile & adult probation. As a Supervising Probation Officer, Officer Day assisted with the administration and development of custody and community programs benefiting youth & adult rehabilitation. During his career, he was assigned for approximately 15 years in Probation’s youth residential facilities. Currently, Officer Day oversees the Intake, Investigations and Court Unit of the Youth Field Services division in Kearny Mesa. He is married with two daughters and is the full-time butler to his Australian Shepherd “Oliver.”
