Jennifer Elkins, LCSW

Jennifer Elkins graduated under the Master of Social Title IV-E program at SDSU in 2005 and has since worked for Residential Services with the County of San Diego.  Within CWS, she has worked in the Teen Specialty Unit and implemented Team Decision Making.  She has served as their lead facilitator for the past 5 years.  Ms. Elkins has been developing her Motivational Interviewing Skills and has participated in training MI at San Diego State University, within her work at Residential Services with MSW Interns and CWS through the PCWTA.  Ms. Elkins also serves as a Licensed Clinical Social through her private psychotherapy office, specializing in Motivational Interviewing, PTSD, children and families, as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.
