Lynn Young, MSW, LCSW

Lynn is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of Social Work case management and crisis intervention with children and families impacted by complex trauma. Lynn developed the Family Trauma Prevention and Recovery Program at Saddleback Church. She has taught and created curriculum on family and childhood trauma, secondary traumatic stress, attachment, attunement, emotional regulation and social skills. She trained over 400 church members in a 14 hour curriculum entitled “Understanding Childhood Trauma.” Lynn is currently working as a counselor for individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents focusing on attachment and trauma recovery. Her practice is in Mission Viejo at Relationship 180. She is a wife to Mike and a mom to two sons, ages 12 and 17 and is currently expecting her third child in February.
