Where can I find out more about the CYFSOC Conference 2022?

Where will the Conference be held?
Due to the continued need for caution stemming from COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 CYFSOC conference will be a complete virtual event. Our virtual conference will offer many of the same components you’ve come to love at our in-person conference! You will have access to numerous learning and networking opportunities through interactive keynote presentations, panel discussions and digital resource fair booths.
What is the schedule for the Conference?
The conference begins with virtual check-in between 8:00 am – 8:30 am. Programming will begin promptly at 8:30 am. There will be a mid-morning 15 minute break, an hour for lunch, and another 15 minute break in the mid-afternoon. The conference will end at 4:30 pm.
Registered conference participants will have full access to the recorded conference sessions for up to thirty (30) days following the day of the conference.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds will be issued for registrations cancelled prior to May 19, 2022. If you wish for someone else to go in your place, please either update your registration or contact us with the name of the person cancelling and the information for the new attendee, no later than May 19, 2022. When does registration open for the Conference?

How do I register for the Conference?
Registration will be available via Eventbrite.com in mid-late March 2022.

Continuing Education Credits
What happens if I am late?
The Academy for Professional Excellence’s Continuing Education (CE) provider agreement stipulates that participants cannot receive CEs if they miss more than 15 minutes of a CE approved event. However, your ticket is still valid and you are welcome to join the conference and participate. Visit our website here for more information on our CE policies.
When will I be able to get my CEs?
CE certificates are available for download on the RIHS Learning Management System (LMS) one week after the conference.
I attended the Conference, but it’s not letting me get my CEs. Why won’t I get CEs?
Attendees who miss more than 15 minutes of any portion of an in-person event are not eligible to receive CEs. Attendance is tracked through the online conferencing platform. Attendees must also complete an evaluation to be eligible to receive CEs.

Who can apply for the CYFSOC Conference Scholarship?
CYFSOC Conference Scholarship Applications are open to Family Partners, Parent Partners, or Youth Partners.
What are important Scholarship application dates?
The application process closes April 29, 2022. Scholarship recipients will be contacted by May 6, 2022.
When will I know if I am a Scholarship recipient?
Scholarship recipients will be notified the week of May 9, 2022. All Scholarship applicants will receive an email from one of our CYFSOC Scholarship Coordinators.
How can I check on the status of my Scholarship application?
