Angela Rowe
Angela Rowe, LCSW has worked in the field of Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and Mental Health for 25 years. Right out of grad school from SDSU, she began working for Vista Hill ParentCare Family Recovery Center. It is there she has found her life-long passion of working with families. Her work centers around working with parents with SUD issues that are mostly involved in Child Welfare Services (CWS). She is a huge advocate for services for families, often making public comments at many County meetings about the need for housing and other services for families involved in CWS.
Ms. Rowe is the Immediate Past Chair of the Alcohol and Drug Services Provider Association (ADSPA), part of the Housing Council, Adult Council, Children Youth Family System of Care Council, the Network for Social Work Management and represents at many other County meetings. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and uses this in her private practice.
She is the proud mother of two amazing daughters and has been happily married to her college sweetheart for 25 years. In her spare time, she fosters animals. She has fostered 69 dogs for various dog rescues and 13 cats/kittens. She also has raised a service dog during the pandemic who is now continuing his training journey at Chino Prison in a Service Dog Inmate Program.
