Trainer Biography
Dana Brown
Dana Brown is a Midwest farm girl who has resided in San Diego for over thirty-five years. An ACEs Science subject matter expert, Dana has been facilitating training throughout the region, state, and nation for several years cross-sector in a socio-ecological model. A social entrepreneur, Ms. Brown has founded several youth leadership groups within inner-city elementary, middle and high schools, and in the Mid-City Police Division partnering with the Juvenile Services Team. Vested as a community leader for over twenty years, Dana is on the City of San Diego Commission on Gang Prevention & Intervention, Chair of the Youth Committee, and Tri-Chair, San Diego Trauma-Informed Guide Team. On the leadership team of Southern CA Warrior Spirit, Ms. Brown is humbled to be an ally with local Indigenous Nations and Peoples. Devoted to advocating and advancing equity-focused, healing-centered, sustainable systems-change, Dana’s core values inspire her to plant seeds and spark intrinsic motivation within attendees of professional development and training opportunities to lead the transformational change within their sphere of influence, individually and organizationally, to ignite the tipping point of the paradigm shift on humanizing all systems, cross-sector, to cultures of care, hope, and healing. Ms. Brown is the ACEs Science Statewide Facilitator with Lifelong Learning Administration Corporation and the Organizational Liaison with PACEs Connection.
